Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice

The Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice brings together researchers, educators, and administrators to study, develop, and implement innovations in teaching and learning that can enhance classroom practices in Singapore.

Research Projects

Researchers at CRPP use a variety of methods and research designs to study topics in mathematics, language learning, literacy, science, humanities, arts, and technology across all grade levels.  Some studies examine features of students’ learning and motivation; some focus on teachers’ discourse and assessments; and some document successful knowledge-building communities.  Many studies lead directly to application of new knowledge, methods, and tools to support teachers.
