The study, drawing on data from the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2009, examines the impact of out-of-school-time programs (OST) on achievement in mathematics, reading and science among adolescents in East Asian countries / economies - Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Macao, Shanghai and Singapore.
