This lively, interactive session offers practical advice on preparing and delivering effective and impactful keynote papers and conference presentations. In many papers, it is easy to doze off but you won’t have a chance to do that today! Participants will take away useful tips and strategies for the planning and delivery of conference papers. Both speakers are noted for engaging and dynamic presentations and will share stories of their personal successes (and embarrassments!).

A/P Maureen Neihart is Head, Psychological Studies Academic Group, NIE. Prior to coming to NIE, she worked as a child psychologist and has given more than 40 keynote addresses worldwide.

Dr Myra Bacsal is a clinical psychologist and a Lecturer in the Early Childhood and Special Needs Education Academic Group. She is passionate in making her slideshows come alive to make them more meaningful and interesting to the target audience.

Please register your attendance with the Office of Education Research at email: by 17 August 2011.

Please download the presentation slides prior to the workshop.

This event is for NIE Staff only.
