This intensive hands-on workshop is suited for those who have collected data and would like to go beyond basic statistical data analyses such as descriptives, correlations, ANOVAs and t-tests. Its objective is to provide assistance / guidance in helping colleagues conduct analyses with their own data rather than conducting a theoretical workshop on statistical data analysis.

At the end of the session, participants would have analysed their own data and gained the working knowledge needed to conduct advanced statistical techniques such as regression analysis, path analysis, ANCOVAs, MANOVAs and Structural Equation Modelling.

Participants must bring their own datasets for analysis to the workshop.

Dr Jerome Rotgans is a Research Scientist with the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice, NIE. Jerome has conducted many research and statistics workshops in Singapore and abroad. His workshops are hands-on and highly interactive.

Please register your attendance with the Office of Education Research at email: by 5 April 2011.

Registration is limited to 10 participants per session on a first-come-first-served basis.

This event is for NIE Staff only.
