CURRICULUM STRUCTURE FOR THE BSc (ED) (PHYSICAL EDUCATION & SPORTS SCIENCE SPECIALISATION) COURSE |
Trainee teachers under the BSc (Ed) (Physical Education & Sports Science Specialisation) course will follow the curriculum structure shown in Table 9 below. The duration of the course is four years:

final year CS English, Math, Science and Social Studies comprise two modules
each and denoted as 402 which carries 0 AU and an ‘IP’ (In Progress) grade at
the end of the module in the first semester, and 403 which carries the total AUs
(3 AUs each for Math an English, and 4 AUs each for Science and Social Studies)
in the second semester. For CS Science, all trainees would have to take the
modules CCS301, CCS302, CCS402 and CCS403 in this sequence. As it would take 4
semesters to complete these four modules, full-time trained non-graduate
teachers pursuing the degree programme are advised to register for CCS301 in
their first semester when embark on their degree programme.

Note:
In order to fulfil minimum degree requirements to graduate, trainee teachers are expected to take 6 AUs of general electives. Trainee teachers are strongly encouraged to take these general electives in a semester which is not too heavy in terms of total number of AUs.
