MATRICULATION AND REGISTRATION

Matriculation will take place two weeks before Semester I. Registration for modules to be offered in Semesters I and II will take place one week before each semester.

Trainee teachers can register for or drop a module offered in the semester within the first week (two weeks in the case of Year 1 trainee teachers for semester 1 only) of that semester. A module that is dropped within the first week (two weeks in the case of Year 1 trainee teachers for semester 1 only) of a semester will not appear in the trainee teacher's official transcript.

A trainee teacher who drops a module after the deadline, that is the end of the first week (second week in the case of Year 1 trainee teachers for semester 1 only) of a semester, will be deemed to have sat and failed in the module. 'F' will appear on the official transcript and '0' mark will be used in the computation of marks.

Enrolment

Although trainee teachers usually get to read the subject/modules of their own choice, the final choice of subjects/modules sometimes has to be determined by the Dean of Foundation Programmes/Heads /Co-ordinators of subjects concerned. Trainee teachers are responsible for ensuring that the modules they select do not clash on the class time-table and the examination time-table which are both prepared before the registration exercise.
