Dr Hairon Salleh and Team's Recommendations to be Shared on OPAL
Friday, 28 August 2015
Dr Hairon Salleh was invited to give a talk and conduct workshops at the International Symposium and Workshops on “Global Perspectives on Developing Professional Learning Communities”, held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 30 May to 2 June 2015 for Hong Kong leaders and teachers. His talk and workshops at the symposium were based on his research project titled “The Impact of Community-Based Teacher Learning on Student Learning Outcomes”, for which he was the PI along with three other co-PIs, namely Dr Catherine Chua, Dr Jonathan Goh, and Dr Wang Li-Yi.
Besides the talk, recommendations by the project team based on findings from this project have also been submitted to MOE. A condensed version of the report will be made available to all schools in Singapore via the MOE’s digital learning platform OPAL, which can be accessed by all educators in Singapore.
