Dr Kenneth Lim Presents at Digital Learning for Development 1st Regional Meeting of the Asia Research Grant Programme

Research Scientist at the Office of Education Research (OER), Dr Kenneth Lim, presented at the Digital Learning for Development (DL4D) 1st Regional Meeting of the Asia Research Grant Programme to a group of about 30 participants made up of academics and teachers.
The meeting was organized by SEAMEO INNOTECH, and took place in Quezon City, Philippines from 27 – 29 January 2016.
Dr Lim’s presentation was based on his project titled “Exploring Local Micro-Climates with an Open-Source Mesh of Sensor Motes”, which explored the use of environmental sensors to prompt students’ learning in the field of Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
He will be collaborating with colleagues from Indonesia and Philippines to implement this STEM-based curriculum using environmental sensors into schools and communities in these countries.
