Dr Mingfong Jan delivered an invited speech at AECT-ICFER 2013. The title of the speech is Reframing Game-based Learning to Foster Collaborative Dialogic Argumentation in the Classroom.  
 
AECT-ICFER 2013 invited internationally renowned researchers at four research tracks:

Dr Jan and Professor Masanori Sugimoto of Hokkaido University (Japan) were two international researchers invited to share their research on Track 3 Transforming the Classrooms: Innovative Digital Game-based Learning Designs and Applications. 

The other invited speakers include Professor Tak-Wai Chen (National Central University, Taiwan), Professor Sui Cheung Kong (Hong Kong Institute of Education), Professor Hiroaki Ogata (University of Tokushima, Japan), Professor Daniel Spikol (Malmö University, Sweden), Professor Bradley Love (University College London, UK) and Professor Fang-Ying Yang (National Taiwan Normal University).
 
The AECT (The Association for Educational Communications and Technology) conference is one of the oldest and a prestigious conference devoted to improving instruction through technology. This is also the first time AECT conference is held outside the United States.
