ELL organizes the 4th NIE-ELL Postgraduate Conference 2013

The annual NIE-ELL Postgraduate Conference (PGC) is a one-day event when ELL staff and postgraduates come together to hear and learn more about some of the different areas of research being undertaken by the ELL postgraduate students.
The PGC 2013 conference will held on 25th April (Thursday) from 0830hr to 1800hr at the National Institute of Education.
The theme for PGC 2013 is: Exploring English Language and Literature through Teaching and Research.
There are three general strands under this theme:
Strand 1: Language and Literary Studies - This strand focuses on linguistic or literary theories and their implications for education
Strand 2: Language and Literature Education Research - This strand focuses on language and literature education with a research orientation.
Strand 3: Classroom Applications - This strand addresses classroom practice and issues directly related to the teaching, learning and assessment of language and literature.
