NIE Academic Wins Two Research Awards

Hot on the heels of winning the APSCE Distinguished Researcher Award 2015Dr Wong Lung Hsiang, Senior Research Scientist at the Learning Sciences Laboratory, Office of Education Research, also bagged the Best Overall Paper Award at the International Conference on Computers in Education 2015. The winning paper is entitled “Implications of Students’ Vocabulary Growth in a Seamless Language Learning Environment Mediated by Handhelds and Social Media”, co-authored by Dr Wong, Associate Professor Chai Ching Sing from Learning Sciences and Technologies Academic Group, Assistant Professor Ronnel B. King from the Hong Kong Institute of Education and project collaborator, Dr May Liu from the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language.
