NIE Chief Planning Officer Speaks on Empowered Educators on NCEE Webinar

NIE Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Prof Low Ee Ling, spoke at a webinar organised by the National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE) for the book, Empowered Educators: How High-Performing Systems Shape Teaching Quality around the World, on 17 November 2017. The focus for the webinar was on teacher leadership and career development in high-performing systems. The discussion was led by Mr Marc Tucker, President and CEO of NCEE.
Singapore is part of the International Teacher Policy Study, of which Prof Low is Singapore's main representative. Together with Prof Linda Darling-Hammond and Prof Anne Lin Goodwin, she co-authored the book entitled, Empowered Educators in Singapore, which is part of the Empowered Educators series.
