Professor Anthony Okely, Director, Early Start Research Institute visits NIE

Professor Anthony Okely, Director, Early Start Research Institute, University of Wollongong, Australia visited NIE on 14 November 2016. He was hosted by Professor Low, Associate Professor Poon, Associate Professor Ang, Dr Kawabata and Dr Nirmala on behalf of NIE Director. The meeting discussed current research trends surrounding the field of Early Childhood and possible future collaborations between the Early Start Research Institute and NIE.
Professor Okely is a National Heart Foundation of Australia Career Development Fellow and Professorial Fellow in the Faculty of Social Sciences. He has been awarded over $6 million for research, has published 135 peer-reviewed journal articles and has around 2,400 citations.
