Talk about the popularity of Social Media Tools is rife and so it is most relevant that two intrepid researchers at NIE's Learning Sciences and Technologies (LST) should have a case study that revealed the effects of how writing in an online personal journal (also known as "Blogging") could very well help children enhance their writing capabilities and analytical skills.

Moving Lessons - Intervention Project on Enhancing Motivational and Self-Regulated Learning Profiles of Hwa Chong Institution Students

A total of 238 students from twelve classes and four teachers participated in a collaborative school-based intervention project which was conducted in 2010 between Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) and NIE's Motivation in Educational Research Laboratory (MERL). The aim of the project was to help teachers enhance the motivation and self-regulation strategies of their students.
