The International Advisory Panel found that NIE's strategies were focused, well thought through and directly relevant to the needs of the Singapore education system.

The timely implementation of these strategies is of great importance to the continued growth of NIE and to the development of a quality teaching force and research-based continual improvement in instructional quality.

This would position NIE very well both to meet the needs of its stakeholders and to serve as a model for the international education research community.
