Researchers from NIE’s Learning Sciences Lab (LSL) have done it again! They won two best paper awards at the 10th World Conference on Mobile and Contextual Learning (mLearn 2011) held in Beijing in October 2011. mLearn is widely recognised as the premiere international conference on learning with mobile technologies and learning across contexts.
The two award-winning papers are on mobile technology for language learning:

Both papers came out of research projects led by Dr Wong and funded through OER’s Education Research Funding Programme. Professor Looi Chee Kit, Head of the Centre of Excellence for Learning Innovation, has been playing a significant mentoring role to both Dr Wong and Dr Boticki.
