The Centre for e-Learning's (CeL) mission is to support, initiate and sustain e-learning in NIE.
It collaborates with NIE staff on the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for teaching and learning. CeL's services include instructional design, e-learning systems support, mobile apps design, video recording and post-production, and graphics design. It also conducts ICT-related briefings, workshops and staff sharing sessions.
CeL provides technical support for student teachers in their use of the Blackboard learning management system and Google Sites hosted e-portfolios. It also creates e-learning resources and arranges for vendor-based technical training for student teachers.
