The Pedagogical Development & Innovations (PDI) department promotes and supports the use of new pedagogies in NIE and is constantly exploring innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
In addition, the department also promotes the Initial Teacher Preparation programmes offered by the Office of Teacher Education and is the liaison department for international students in our programmes.
The department is involved in various programmes with strategic partners, such as, the Temasek Foundation-NIE Leaders & Educators in Asia Programme (LEAP).
PDI is led by Associate Dean, A/P Philip Wong and is supported by an Assistant Head, Mr Eric Yeo.
