The Policy and Leadership Studies Academic Group (PLS AG) promotes the vision of educational leaders who inspire and empower others within educational systems, locally and internationally, to work collaboratively and synergistically . The PLS AG believes that the quality of school leadership is a critical factor for school success.
Mission
Developing education leaders for the challenges of tomorrow
The PLS AG sets high standards in designing and implementing pre-service and in-service programmes that incorporate its staff members' most current research findings.
This is in order to prepare educators and leaders to meet emerging challenges in education. Courses and programmes of the Academic Group are especially designed for education leaders to facilitate them in their own development of skills and knowledge required to lead schools to new realms of educational excellence. With the education stakeholders' needs as a driving force, PLS AG staff shares their knowledge, skills and experience in continuously developing and delivering innovative curricula in educational leadership theory and practice.
