INTRODUCTION

Dr. Liu Zhenping was appointed the Asst Prof of Asian Languages and Cultures Academic Group, NIE on 4 Jan 2010. Education Asst Prof Liu received his Bachelor of Literature (Education of Chinese & Literature) from School of Literature of Xinyang Normal University in 2002, Master Degree of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from School of Liberal Arts, Renmin University of China in 2004, and Doctor Degree of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Centre for Studies of Chinese as a Second Language of Beijing Language and Culture University in 2007. 

RESEARCH INTERESTS

His teaching and research interests have been concerned primarily with Chinese Grammar, Modern Chinese Phonetics, Grammar in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Modern Chinese, Classical Chinese, Introduction to Linguistics, Modern Chinese lexicology, Modern Semantics, Sociolinguistics, and Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.

PROFESSIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS

Asst Prof Liu Zhenping was the Lecturer and Academic Leader of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language of Continuing (Network) Education College of Beijing Language and Culture University; He is the First Batch of Associate Researcher of China Culture Administration Society; He serves as an Adjunct Professor of School of Literature of Xinyang Normal University; He is reviewer for Journal of Chuzhou University; He is also a member of International Society for Chinese Language Teaching.
