Dr Jonathan GOH W.P. is an Associate Dean (Research Support) at the Office of Education Research (OER) and Associate Professor at the Policy and Leadership Studies (PLS) Academic Group, National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University (NIE-NTU). He obtained a first class honors degree in Commerce from Murdoch University in 1994, and a PhD (with Distinction) in Marketing from the University of Western Australia in 2001. Dr. Goh teaches educational marketing and management-related courses to various In-service and High degree programs. He has actively engaged in consultancy with various industries including financial (Citibank, Australia), consumer products (Smiths' Crisps Company & Leeuwin Winery), hospitality (Sheraton Perth Hotel, Duxton Hotel & Thomas Cook Travel), and education (schools in Singapore, the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore & the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain). His teaching and research interests include educational marketing, school leadership, student learning approaches, intercultural communication competence, and cross-cultural aspects of service quality perceptions, as well as customer satisfaction and motivation. In recent years, his interest has been in the area of measurement, evaluation and psychometrics including data analysis techniques such as RASCH Analysis and structural equation modeling.
