  • Christina taught English Language Arts in the Gifted Education Programme for Secondary pupils for six years. She then served as a Subject Inspector for English Language and Literature in the Curriculum Planning Division of the Ministry of Education for another five years. She moved on to explore instructional design as a Media Specialist in the Educational Technology Division, and then embarked on research into literacy development in the early childhood years. Subsequently, she joined the Education Programmes Division as a Programme Officer and then went on to head the Pre-school Education team to work on curriculum issues in Singaporean pre-schools. Part of her work included publishing the Kindergarten Curriculum Framework package, Nurturing Early Learners.

    She is now a Senior Lecturer in the Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Academic Group, focusing on curriculum implementation, primary education, and teacher professional development and learning.
