    Short Bio

    Dr. Chanmin Park received his Ph.D. in Sport administration from University of New Mexico. He had been involved in academic teaching appointments at University of Florida and University of Central Missouri prior to his arrival to NIE, Singapore in 2014.

    Dr. Park's primary line of inquiry in the field of sport management is largely focused on the study of law and risk management in sport and physical activity programs. Adopting a multi-methodological approach, his research has specifically investigated (a) consumer behavior in sport; (b) awareness of and compliance with statuses, standards, and guidelines; (c) risk perception, management policies and practices; and (d) factors influencing sport event quality and management.
