Woo Sin completed his Diploma in Physical Education in 1991 under the College of Physical Education with a Distinction in his practicum. He was appointed the Head of Department (HOD) of PE/CCA in 1995 and took on the role of the HOD in-charge of the PE Cluster Collaboration Group. As the HOD of the National Convenor for Gymnastics, he was instrumental in the organisation of the National Inter-Schools Gymnastics Championship from 1997 to 2001. He also served as the judge in the Artistic Gymnastics Championship during the same period.
Woo Sin was awarded the SPEA Outstanding PE Teacher Award in 1998 and was presented with the Certificate of Recognition for Services Rendered Towards the Promotion of Sports by Singapore Schools Sports Council in 2000. Woo Sin was appointed a Vice-Principal in 2001. As the Vice-Principal of Poi Ching School (2002-2009) and Ngee Ann Primary School (2010-2012), he took on the roles of the Advisor for the Cluster PE Collaboration Group and was also a Steering Committee Member of the East Zone Centre of Excellence for Sports. To afford him greater impact in the development of the teachers in Physical Education, he applied for secondment to NIE/PESS and has taken on the role of a Teaching Fellow since 15 Dec 2012. Woo Sin is one of the syllabus writers in the design and development team for the Physical Education Syllabus 2014.
