Abstract
The graduating cohorts (2015/2016) of student teachers from all the programmes are given the survey questionnaire in the attempt to understand their thoughts and feelings about their practicum experience. The main purpose of the proposed study is to analyse at the end of the final practicum. The research objectives of the study are outlined below: (1) To understand the conceptions and perspectives of student teachers on their practicum experience in schools in Singapore (2) To understand their perceptions on their school mentors during practicum (3) To identify challenges and concerns during practicum (4) To find out their reflections and self-assessment of their effectiveness and abilities as a teacher
