The Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP) conducts world-class educational research that focuses on the analysis and improvement of pedagogy and practice in Singapore schools. Established in 2002 and funded by the Ministry of Education, the centre has collaborated with policymakers, educators, teachers and administrators to examine and improve educational practices.

The Centre of Excellence in Learning Innovation (COELI) is a joint collaboration between NIE Singapore and SRI International. We recognise that research, innovation and adoption are intrinsically tied for any highly successful programme. Therefore, COELI's objectives are aligned to NIE's research goals, by focusing on the knowledge transfer of education innovation and its subsequent adoption.
