  • Q: I encountered an error message in the Student Automated Registration System (STARS) that I am unable to enroll in the course during the period of course registration. What should I do?

     A: For Music electives, students are required to attend an audition in order to register for the course.

    The lecturer in-charge will help to send in details to NTU Office of Academic Services for official course registration once they have successfully passed the audition.

    For Art & Drama electives, students may register for the respective courses in STARS.

    Q: How do I check the audition details for Music electives?

    A: Students may refer to the STARS portal or click on the link provided below to check for more information on audition.

    Q: What if I am unable to register due to exceeded class quota?

    A: Students may contact the NTU Office of Academic Services for assistance on the matter.

     Q: How do I know if I have successfully registered for a course?

    A: Students would be able to check on their registration status in STARS. Kindly contact NTU Office of Academic Services if you face any problem registering for the courses in STARS.

    Q: I was late for registration because I was considering my options for General Electives/I did not receive the allocation for General Elective. Is it too late to register now?

    A: Students can contact our respective coordinators under the Contact Us section to appeal on a case-by-case basis.

    Q: I could not make it to the stipulated audition date. Can I still register for VPA Music elective courses?

    A: Students can contact our respective coordinators under the Contact Us section to appeal on a case-by-case basis.
