Time: 9.30am - 11.30am
This workshop covers the basic principles of citation counting, which is a means of measuring scholarly output. Topics include an introduction to the Web of Science citation databases, the creation of citation reports and interpretation of h-index. Demonstrations and explanations will be followed by hands-on exercises. The workshop is designed for beginning researchers who are new to citation counting.
This workshop will be conducted by staff of the Library and Information Services Centre, NIE.
