Forty senior educators received their certificates for completing the Leaders in Education Programme (LEP) on Thursday night.
The LEP is a six-month long course conducted by the National Institute of Education for educators selected by the Ministry of Education for school leadership positions. This year's cohort included four Bruneians.
Education Minister Heng Swee Keat was the guest of honour at the event at the Regent Hotel. He said school leaders are the key to a successful education system, and called on the graduands to create an engaging school environment for both students and teachers.
