Associate Professor Rita Silver presenting at the conference
Associate Professor Rita Silver of NIE’s English Language & Literature Academic Group and Associate Dean of Research Design & Integrity at Office of Education Research (OER), presented in a workshop at the SEAMEO RETRAC 9th International Conference on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Themed “Breakthroughs in English Language Teaching in the 21st Century”, the conference was organized by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Training Center (SEAMEO RETRAC) in conjunction with Curtin University, Australia.
Her workshop was entitled “Innovation through Action Research – Improving Our Own Practice”. The audience consisted of local, regional and international teaching and research professionals, policy-makers and administrators in the field of English language teaching and learning. The international conference took place from 9 – 10 August 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
