ELL organises the 7th NIE-ELL Postgraduate Conference
ELL held the 7th NIE-ELL Postgraduate Conference on 22nd April 2016. The annual NIE-ELL Postgraduate Conference (PGC) is a one-day event when ELL staff and postgraduates come together to hear and learn more about some of the different areas of research being undertaken by the ELL postgraduate students.

The theme for this year's conference was "Current Research in English Education in Asia." Eminent scholar of linguistics and language, Professor K. K.Luke was our keynote speaker and delivered a lecture entitled "Talking, thinking and doing things: A unified approach to the study of language and communication".
This conference reflects ELL’s commitment to supporting the research endeavors of our graduate students as well as our goal of sustaining a vibrant, dynamic culture of research and intellectual exchange.
