It was reported that Minister’s aim to seek feedback from teachers to strengthen the code of conduct was a timely move. It noted that lately, a number of teachers, including principals, had tarnished the good image of the profession and the affected schools. Editorial stated that there was no need for a code of conduct with lengthy explanations and details as it was sufficient for the code to be nurtured and embedded within the soul of teachers, especially those who were starting their career at the National Institute of Education.
