Collaborative Classrooms provides an environment for collaborative learning. All learners are provided with notebooks that connect wirelessly through the campus-wide wifi. The seating arrangement allows for discussion among group members and collaborative work. They can then share their discussions or watch video case studies through the LCD projection screens. Groups are assigned different topics or problems to solve, thus enriching their learning experiences through problem based learning. To facilitate collaborative work, students can utilise the writing surfaces on the four walls to illustrate their points during presentation. They are encouraged to use Google docs to work together simultaneously for cooperative and collaborative learning. For follow up discussion, their work can be uploaded to the online discussion forums on Blackboard so that learning continues even after the lesson.
