  • Dr Chong Wan Har is an Associate Professor with the Psychological Studies Academic Group. Her early work experience was in special education settings, primarily with early intervention programs, and in de-institutionalization programs with the Auckland Health Board in New Zealand. She also assumed teaching and research positions at the University of Auckland and the Auckland Medical School. Prior to her teaching in NIE, she worked in secondary schools as a school counselor. She currently teaches educational psychology, counseling and group guidance at pre-service, in-service and post-graduate levels. 

    Dr Chong was a member of the NIE Human Research Ethics Committee and currently sits on the NTU Institutional Review Board (IRB). She is also a member of the KK Hospital Medical Ethics
