Dr. Linda Hanington holds a Doctorate degree, an MA in Education, Training and Development and an MBA in Strategic Management. Early in her career Linda taught English as a Foreign Language in the UK, Germany, Austria, and Spain. She moved to Singapore in 1987 and has since worked extensively with Singapore school teachers and other professionals. From 1989 to 2005 she worked at the British Council, Singapore where she held a range of positions in training and management. From 2007 to 2010 she worked at the Regional Language Centre and worked on teacher training and teaching projects for participants from Singapore and other countries in the region. She joined the English Language and Literature Academic Group of the National Institute of Education in June 2010 and is currently Head of the Teachers' Language Development Centre.
