Mr Aidil Subhan Mohamed Sulor started his academic teaching career at the Asian Languages & Cultures Academic Group, NIE on 1st June 2002. He is currently pursuing his PhD on bilingualism and its’ effects on Malay language planning at the English Language and Literature Academic Group, NIE/NTU.
Mr Aidil Subhan is a bilingual scholar who researches in English and Malay. Currently, he sits as a member of Singapore’s Ministry of Education steering committee for the development of instructional materials (Malay language). He actively engages schools by organizing and training teachers during in-service courses in the field of co-operative learning, communicative approaches, school-based curriculum design, differentiated learning and effective assessment modes. He has been involved with the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore in reviewing and training Islamic educators in the area of curriculum design and effective teaching methods, as well as sitting in the educational review committee of the Association of Muslim Professionals for their 2010 Convention.
