This study seeks to document and understand the meaningful learning experiences of a selected group of students in a new science research programme at a Singapore Integrated Programme (IP) school. Although the local news has recently reported on students publishing in peer-reviewed journals, no science education studies have to date provided a rich account on how Singapore students engage in science research.
